Course Objective: To understand the practice of international trade, investment and enterpreuneurship, from a perspective of theoretical and historical relations of governmental politics and of international systems.

Learning Outcomes: The students who succeeded in this course;

  • will be able to analyze international trade and investment opportunities from the point of view of theoretical perspective.
  • will be able to analyze international trade and investment opportunities from the point of view of economical and historical influences.
  • will be able to improve writing skills by assigning reports on covered subjects.
  • will be able to analyze international trade and investment opportunities from the point of view of historical influences.

CourseContent: The course undertakes an indepth analysis of major issues ininternational trade and investment. This includes the history and core principles of the postwartrade regime, a review of international trade theory, development, preferential tradearrangements, foreign direct investment and multinational corporations.
